Fernandina Beach & Jacksonville, FL
Florida Psychological Associates is a growing outpatient mental health practice serving Northeast Florida.
We're expanding thoughtfully—and we're looking for clinicians who care as much about how they practice as
what they practice. This is not a churn-and-burn group practice. We're building something sustainable,
grounded, and high-integrity—for clients and staff.
Our Values
Authenticity: You show up as a real human. You take responsibility, give honest feedback, and don't hide
behind credentials or perfectionism.
Entrepreneurial: You take ownership of your work, your growth, and your professional development. You don't
wait to be micromanaged—and you don't need rescuing.
Peace: You value emotional regulation, healthy boundaries, and steady systems. You contribute to calm rather
than chaos, even when things get hard.
Prosperity: You believe clinicians deserve financial stability and transparent systems. You understand that
sustainable practices allow us to serve clients well—long term.
Quality: You care deeply about clinical excellence, ethical practice, and evidence-informed care. You don't cut
corners, and you stay curious.
About the Practice
We are a training-forward, multidisciplinary practice with psychologists, licensed counselors, social workers,
and a psychiatric provider on staff. We prioritize strong supervision, consultation, and systems that reduce
burnout rather than create it.
What We Offer
• Competitive salary based on licensure and experience
• Health, dental, and vision insurance
• 401(k) with employer match
• Generous PTO plus a paid birthday
• Weekly supervision and clinical consultation
• Ongoing professional development support
• A collaborative, emotionally intelligent team culture
• Clear expectations, real support, and humane workloads
Who Thrives Here
• Licensed or license-eligible in Florida (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT)
• Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field
• Practice from evidence-based or evidence-informed frameworks
• Comfortable working full-time, in person
• Communicate clearly, directly, and respectfully
• Can tolerate feedback without defensiveness
• Take responsibility for your schedule, documentation, and follow-through
• Care about the health of the whole system, not just your caseload
What We're Not Looking For
• Preference for minimal structure or unclear expectations
• Struggles with boundaries, accountability, or time management
• Views supervision as punitive rather than collaborative
• Only looking for a paycheck without investment in the team
