Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology
Education & Licensure
Master’s degree from an accredited institution in counseling, applied psychology, clinical mental health counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, or a related field.
Must be licensed as an LLMFT, LMFT, LCMFT, or LAMFT
Must be licensed in Michigan
Experience
One (1) year experience in a clinical setting in counseling and DSM-V diagnosis preferred.
Must have knowledge of common treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, solution focused therapy, etc.
Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
General Clinical Duties
Provide on-going, out-patient clinical services to clients on a weekly or as needed basis.
Manage a clinical caseload and deliver competent clinical care using ethical and proven therapeutic techniques.
Provide timely completion of documentation for assessment, treatment planning, and progress notes.
Availability to work some evenings and/or weekends.
Must be able to provide in-office and telehealth services
Good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
Other duties as assigned.
General Administrative Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and timely client records that include weekly progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
Attend all mandatory meetings, trainings, and complete all task assigned.
