Role Overview
Gallant Business Solutions is seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Professional with specialization
in sex offender treatment to support the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services (DJS) within
secure juvenile detention facilities across Baltimore and surrounding areas.
This role focuses on providing structured, evidence-based therapeutic services to justice-involved youth
with sexually problematic behaviors. The clinician will conduct assessments, treatment planning, and
ongoing therapeutic interventions aligned with best practices for juvenile sexual behavior treatment in
secure environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide individual therapeutic services and clinical assessments to assigned youth
• Complete psychosocial and specialized evaluations related to sexually problematic behaviors
• Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans, with formal reviews at least every
six (6) months
• Deliver structured, evidence-based interventions aligned with juvenile sex offender treatment
models
• Participate in individual and group clinical supervision
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
• Participate in scheduled clinical and interdisciplinary team meetings
• Collaborate with facility staff to support treatment goals and behavioral accountability
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations
Required Education & Licensure
• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work
• Active Maryland clinical license in good standing, including but not limited to:
o LCSW-C
o LMSW
o LGPC
o LCPC
Required Experience & Competencies
• Minimum 2 years of counseling experience
• Prior experience working with children and adolescents
• Experience providing treatment to youth with sexually problematic or harmful sexual behaviors
required
• Experience in juvenile justice, detention, residential, or secure treatment settings strongly
preferred
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care, adolescent development, and structured treatment models
• Strong professional boundaries, clinical judgment, and documentation discipline
• Proficiency with electronic documentation systems and Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable transportation required

Compensation & Benefits
• $50/hour
• PTO eligibility after 90 days
