Job ID: 1
After 24 years in the clinical field and a decade co-owned a successful large-scale private practice, I have transitioned to an intentional, high-integrity boutique model in Oswego. I am seeking one dedicated, experienced therapist to join my solo-plus-one practice. This is an opportunity to work in a peer-supported environment where clinical quality is prioritized over "mill-style" volume.
The Clinical Population
Our practice serves a diverse, vibrant community throughout the lifespan. You can expect a caseload primarily composed of:
Emerging Adults (50%+): A typical clientele age 16–25 navigating life transitions.
Pediatric & Family (25%): Children under 12 and their families (a high-need area in our community).
Geriatric (5–10%): Clients age 65+ seeking specialized support.
The Role
Caseload: Full-time expectation of 25–30 sessions per week.
Hybrid Flexibility: Must be available for in-office sessions in our Oswego suite. Once your caseload is established, you have the autonomy to coordinate with clients for virtual or in-person sessions.
Availability: Evening and weekend availability is required to meet the needs of local families and students.
Insurance: We accept all private insurance companies and Medicare.
Requirements
Experience: Post-Master’s degree with 5+ years of clinical experience.
Licensure: Open to LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT (1099) and LSW or LPC (W2).
Versatility: Comfortable working across the lifespan, from young children to seniors.
What I Offer (Clinical Community & Mentorship)
While you will be working with me, you are not isolated. Our office is a suite of 7 experienced, solo-practitioner therapists who are all "4-letter" clinicians and friends. This provides a unique, supportive environment for clinical consultation and professional camaraderie.
Clinical Mentorship includes:
Specialized Pediatric & Family Work: 24 years of experience in child-centered and family-system interventions.
Evidence-Based Expertise: BTTI-trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and the SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) protocol.
True Autonomy: Manage your own calendar and session formats once full.
Filing Choice: W2 status for associate-level clinicians; 1099 status for fully licensed clinicians.
Note: As a small, solo-owned boutique practice, health insurance and 401k benefits are not provided at this time.
How to Apply
Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter highlighting your experience with children under 12 and any interest in evidence-based modalities like ERP or SPACE.

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Oswego, IL 60543
