Job description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to clients dealing with a variety of mental health issues. This role involves assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering psychotherapy in a supportive and confidential environment. The Mental Health Therapist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our clients.
Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
* Provide psychotherapy to individuals and/or groups using evidence-based practices.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Utilize ICD-10 coding for diagnosis and treatment documentation.
* Engage in case management activities to coordinate care and resources for clients.
* Implement crisis management strategies when necessary to ensure client safety.
* Offer grief counseling and support for clients experiencing loss or trauma.
* Provide addiction counseling services as needed, addressing substance use issues within the therapeutic context.
* Stay informed about psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with prescribing clinicians regarding medication management.
Skills
* Must be LCSWs, LMHCs, LPCs, LMFTs, or Clinical Psychologists (PhD/PsyD)
* Proficiency in psychotherapy techniques and approaches tailored to individual client needs.
* Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding for accurate diagnosis documentation; familiarity with ICD-9 is a plus.
* Excellent case management skills, ensuring comprehensive support for clients throughout their treatment journey.
* Ability to maintain detailed medical records while adhering to confidentiality standards.
* Competence in crisis management, with the ability to respond effectively in high-stress situations.
* Experience in grief counseling, providing empathetic support during difficult times.
* Knowledge of psychopharmacology principles as they relate to mental health treatment.
* Familiarity with addiction counseling methodologies, aiding clients in recovery processes.
