Schedule: Monday – Friday (Flexible hours)

Position Summary:
Echoes of Hope is seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatrist to join our growing outpatient Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and behavioral health program. The ideal candidate will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and clinical leadership to a team dedicated to treating individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychiatric assessments and ongoing evaluations for clients enrolled in MAT and behavioral health services
Prescribe and manage MAT medications (Suboxone, Vivitrol, etc.) in accordance with evidence-based protocols
Collaborate with therapists, case managers, peer support, and nursing staff to ensure integrated care
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and licensing requirements, including OFLAC and DEA regulations
Participate in clinical team meetings and quality improvement activities
Required Qualifications:
MD or DO with current license to practice in West Virginia
Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
Active DEA license with DATA 2000 waiver (or ability to obtain for MAT prescribing)
Experience treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions
Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to person-centered, trauma-informed care
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in an outpatient or community behavioral health setting
Familiarity with West Virginia behavioral health standards
Comfort working with underserved populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness
