🧠 Inpatient Psychiatrist Opportunity – No Call | Court Evals | Ages 12+ | Onsite Only
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist for an on-site, inpatient role at our psychiatric hospital. This is a no-call position with a supportive, experienced team and a well-structured patient population.
🔍 Position Details:
Setting: Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital
Schedule: Preferred days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Hours: 8-hour days
Onsite Only: No telehealth options
Call: No call responsibilities
Start Date: ASAP
👥 Team & Facility:
Join a collaborative team of:
2 Psychiatrists
3 Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
Facility census:
48 beds total – 16 adolescent, 32 adult
Average Length of Stay: 11–12 days
EMR: WellSky
🧑⚕️ Patient Population & Case Types:
Ages 12 and up
Full range of general psychiatry patients
Excludes: Autism spectrum and intellectually delayed patients
Case types include:
Court-ordered psychiatric evaluations
Occasional court hearing attendance
✅ Candidate Requirements:
Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Must be Medicare-enrolled
Medicaid enrollment preferred, but not a deal breaker
Must hold (or be eligible for) CSR licensure in the state
Strong comfort level with technology and EMRs
(Must be able to learn systems quickly – tech proficiency is essential)
