About the clinician's workday

The clinician will provide comprehensive addiction psychiatry services in an outpatient setting, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, prescribing and managing medication-assisted treatment protocols including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone for patients with substance use disorders. The position requires active New York State Medicaid participation and board certification in addiction psychiatry. The clinician will work collaboratively with counseling staff providing individual, group, and family therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing to support comprehensive patient care and recovery planning.
