Position Overview: New Hope Community Service Center (NHCSC) is seeking a compassionate, mission-driven Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team in Chicago. You'll provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and medication management across our distinct Sex Offender Treatment, Substance Use Disorder Treatment, and General Mental Health departments, collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic, client-centered care.

Work Environment & Schedule
Work Environment: You'll work in a supportive, team-oriented environment at New Hope Community Service Center (NHCSC), a trusted community resource founded in 1993. We deliver trauma-informed, culturally competent care grounded in humility, compassion, accountability, integrity, and gratitude. You will serve a diverse caseload within our various programs, encompassing individuals with substance use disorders (including opioid treatment program clients), clients with a wide range of mental health conditions, and those in our Sex Offender Treatment program, for both youth and adult populations.

Any Other Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency (or currently in your final year and eligible for licensing).
Board eligible or board certified (or with clear plans to become board certified).
Illinois medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
Strong passion for community mental health and working with diverse, underserved populations.
Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and recovery-oriented care.
Willingness and ability to work with varied populations, including those in sex offender treatment and individuals with substance use disorders.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to thrive in an interdisciplinary setting.
Ability to manage a diverse caseload with strong organizational and time management skills.
